HOW TO BUY A CLASS 3/ NFA ITEM AND PICK IT UP IN THE STORE.
If you want to order a suppressor (silencer), short barrel rifle, short barrel shotgun, or a fully automatic firearm and want to pick it up in the store, the steps are as follows:
1. Order the item you want either through the website or by coming into the store.
2. The easiest way to get approved by the ATF is to establish a living
trust. You can either set one up through your attorney, through an
online service like www.legalzoom.com or by contacting the Apple Law Firm here in Jacksonville.
3. You will then need to come into the store to fill out
paperwork required by the ATF. We will then submit the paperwork to the
ATF for approval. The one time fee you must pay to the ATF is $200 and the tax stamp is valid
for as long as you own the item.
4. Approximately 6 weeks later, we will receive the approval
information from the ATF and you will be able to take the item with
you.
