McGowan Firearms was founded in March of 2009 with one thing in mind, great customer service. There are plenty of big box retailers out there who have millions of dollars in inventory, we're a small store where you can actually ask questions, learn about the gun, and get comfortable with your purchase. We don't have every gun ever made, but what we don't have we can special order and get in your hands within three business days.
Concealed Weapons Classes
Our classes are a basic introduction to firearms taught as if no one in the class has ever touched a gun before. The class covers the parts of a gun, how to clean a firearm, what to do when you go to the range, safe storage, and Florida concealed weapons laws. We offer concealed weapons classes on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am - 11:00 pm. Classes are scheduled by appointment, come by the store to pay the deposit and sign up.
